In her role as Oncology Support Counselor at Wellness House, Allison aims to provide supportive counseling services for patients undergoing cancer treatment and their loved ones, as well as those who have completed cancer treatment and are seeking space to process their experience. Allison joined the Wellness House team in spring 2022, and is a licensed clinical social worker, having received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois and her master’s degree from the University of Chicago. Allison facilitates several support groups, provides counseling support for individuals, couples, and bereaved individuals, and is working to foster Wellness House's partnership with local hospitals and clinics, in an effort to provide free cancer support for as many people as possible.
