Telemedicine

During the initial stages of COVID-19, when each of us was more isolated and the uncertain nature of an airborne illness loomed, few were more vulnerable than immunocompromised patients. While telemedicine had existed before those uncertain times, out of necessity, it rapidly became a new standard of care. Hope & Healing Cancer Services now offers telemedicine to our patients when appropriate. Technology has shaped the way we connect, and that includes how patients communicate with their doctors. Telemedicine provides one more method of contact and connection that can be helpful when needed.
