Clinical Trials

Clinical trials are another tool we use to offer our clients hope in the service of healing, the things we do best here at Hope & Healing Cancer Services.

Cancer research, innovation, and important medical breakthroughs are dependent on the use of clinical trials to propel the field of oncology forward. With help and guidance from health care professionals, cancer patients can explore if clinical trials would be a useful part of their care and treatment.

“My mom was diagnosed with lymphoma in January 2021, Dr. Srilata Gundala and team handled her case very well and thoroughly. Acted fast as her disease was progressing very rapidly and able to administer a treatment that helped her defeat the disease.”

Hope & Healing Cancer Services is pleased to announce clinical trials as a service to provide our patients access to locally based opportunities.

Ava Baftirovska, Clinical Research Manager, and Sean Horan, Research Coordinator, will work onsite with patients to identify available clinical trials and link them to services.

Providing easy access to clinical trials is the latest effort at Hope & Healing Cancer Services to ensure the best care and treatment opportunities are always available to our patients.

Clinical trials help doctors and researchers create and test new approaches to medical diseases and problems, like cancer. New treatment options and approaches are tested on patient volunteers to determine if they have value for future patients.

Every clinical trial in the United States is reviewed and monitored by an independent Institutional Review Board and regulated by the Food and Drug Administration, ensuring the safety and ethical treatment of all patient participants.

The benefits of clinical trials have contributed to longer lives with better health outcomes and have a proven record of reducing the pain, burden, and suffering of patients. Cancer patients who choose to participate and are accepted in clinical trials can help shape the future for themselves and other cancer patients in positive ways.
