Integrative Medicine Comes to Hope & Healing Care Services

Hope & Healing Care Services is pleased to expand its services and introduce its patients to a more comprehensive approach to healthcare called integrative medicine. By recognizing the benefits of combining standard medical care with safe and effective complementary therapies, our goal is to treat not just the disease of cancer, but our patients as their whole selves.

Integrative medicine works with patients to address their concerns during cancer treatment, including their physical, emotional, spiritual, and social needs. This approach can help reduce some of the challenges of cancer treatment, including fatigue, pain, and anxiety.

Wellness House Staff

Our proud collaboration with Hinsdale’s own Wellness House continues. Their trained staff come to Hope & Healing Care Services weekly to provide counseling, nutrition and exercise guidance, family support, and general information for Hope & Healing patients about how to ease the challenges of living with cancer.

“Providing the best care to the patients at Hope & Healing has been my goal and dream since I founded the clinic. By creating partnerships with other local independent providers, my patients will have onsite access to experts in pain management, palliative care, and wellness support, providing integrative medicine in our familiar, comfortable clinic setting,” says Dr. Srilata Gundala, hematologist/oncologist and founder of Hope & Healing Care Services in Hinsdale, Illinois, “Integrative medicine aims to treat patients as more than just their diagnosis or disease, but as whole people with full lives outside their cancer treatment. I look forward to this new era for Hope & Healing Care Services and am confident my patients will benefit from the benefits of integrative medicine.”
